Guns are people! Gays? Not so much.

I have seen an image. It is two women. One of them is a terrorist whose name escapes me, and the other is Holly Fisher. Mrs. Fisher is carrying a gun and a bible, and the terrorist is holding a koran and a gun. This image is often captioned with "Explain the difference", and someone did. Unfortunately for them, the only defense Mrs. Fisher has going for her is that she's not a terrorist and that she's never killed anyone. The thing is, I don't know how Mrs. Fisher reacts to gays or atheists. For all I know, the only thing keeping her from killing anyone is the law. Someone said that she took the picture as a response to insults claiming that republicans "cling to their guns and religion". This is stupid, even to a republican. Who am I kidding? Republicans would never think it stupid. The line of thought that goes into this reasoning is basically "I do not cling to my bible and guns! I'll prove it by taking a picture with my bible and guns! So there!".

Rainbows and Restaurants, Oh My!

I think there's a confusion here. You think that the owners of Chick-Fil-A not supporting gay marriage is the same as Oreo making a rainbow cookie. But it's not. Let's get something straight. The owners of Chick-Fil-A have done more than vote against gay marriage. They have donated billions to anti-gay "charities" who employ dangerous electro-shock techniques to "cure" gays. All Oreo did was make a rainbow cookie.

First of all, no one is asking you to turn in your guns. We are merely asking that untrustworthy people get background checks, and we merely think that you can do just fine without 30-round magazines. The Right is so scared of Obama that they will misrepresent, deceive, and outright lie.

The problem with this meme is it ignores a serious problem. It implies that accusations of racism toward the Tea Party is just playing a card. But the thing is, when you support the confederate flag, claim that Obama is a Kenyan muslim, call Obama a Witch-Doctor, a n****r, and a monkey, what am  I supposed to call you?

A Militant Confusion

You know what? I think that Right-Wingers of the U.S. are just as bad as ISIS. You say it's a false equivalency? Well, if you're going to compare what U. S. atheists have done to what your group has done, than it's appropriate. Right-Wingers want the confederate flag up, and then have the audacity to claim Lincoln was a republican. Right-Wingers have denied gays not just rights to get married, but also their rights to purchase cake and pizza, their rights to not fear for their lives, and in some cases, the right to live. Militant atheists try to get religious monuments off public property. It's exactly the same. (Sarcasm)
